VOLUME TWO
Volume 2 is the continuation of the saga of American trains, as shown and told by Jim McClellan, a railroad expert. His outstanding photos mixed with recollections from inside the industry have created another jewel to add to your collection.
The author covers his graduation from college, through a brief period with the Navy, and then jobs with both the Southern Railway and the New York Central. His “best of times” at the Southern was quickly offset by the “worst of times,” as American railroads imploded across their passenger service and mainlines.
8.5″ x 11″, 184 pages, 400 photos, full color hard case book

VOLUME THREE
Volume 3 is the story of steam, filled with never before seen photos taken by McClellan from the late 50s until today. This book is 324 pages long. It covers the end of the steam era and how it is continuing to be used around the world in Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia. It also covers steam as a scenic part of the tourist industry around the United States.
Finally, the book shows all 27 steam paintings done by the author and artist.

Jim McClellan has been chasing trains since he was a boy, and started photographing and writing about them later as a man. He worked for several railroads and helped start Amtrak, gaining more knowledge and respect for trains.
His life’s love and passion for trains created thousands of photos and stories, and so the desire to share them with the world was realized through speeches and talks, and now as a volume of train books, My Life With Trains.
These books are the culmination of his life’s devotion to trains and railroads and the amazing world of rails. More information from McClellan’s life with trains can be found at www.beachtrainman.com
